  1. Making it now. As I can't have any juice or pop due to health issue's making my own iced tea using herbal tea & hopefully it's going to taste fine as I can't add anything sugar based & that includes honey.

  2. This is soo good! I had the most strong craving for iced tea, I youtubed all the recipes, tried 2 others, but this one turned out to be the BESSSTTTTTTTTTT! highly recommended.
tip: honey didn't work for me, so I had to add sugar, to do so, I mixed 5Tbsp of sugar in 1/4 cup of hot water, and added it to the pitcher. add ice only after mixing the sugar.

  3. I brew a couple of tea bags in boiling water to extract as much of the tea taste as possible into what is a very strong brew and I also add some mint leaves and the pour into a jug and add more cold water. Then I add some lime juice and lime slices. I add ice before pouring the cold drink left overnight.

I will try it without boiling water to see if that makes a difference. I don't mind the bitterness, but perhaps I might like it more without it. I never add any sweeteners. To me iced tea is a substitute for plain water, not sodas or juices.
