Picked this up a while back as part of the Aldi Advent Calendar at the local Aldo. This beer comes in at 4.5% ABV and poured jet black, with a minimal brown head. The smell was predominantly roasted malt, with a bit of black licorice and little coffee. The taste followed the nose, with roasted malt leading the way, with a bit of black licorice, some coffee, and a dry finish. Overall a middle of the road Irish Dry Stout, especially for the price.

Nice review. Sounds like a solid drinker. At only 4.5% this would be a nice introduction beer for non stout drinkers. I enjoy black licorice so this one sounds interesting to me. Cheers Buddy !
Never seen it but had a few o’haras. I too like Guiness so I’d probably like it
Was Loki the Attack Cat there today?
Also, thanks for the shout out!
Great minds think alike! Cheers!
