If there is one alcohol free beer on the market that I can recommend to anyone, it is the Nanny State by Brewdog. It has the characteristics of an IPA, without the alcohol. As beer brewer I thought immediately about challenging myself to create a clone. I decided to follow the recipe Brewdog is providing on their website: https://brewdogrecipes.com/recipes/nanny-state
The brewing of the full flavoured craft beer at 0.5% was not different than regular beer. I have used loads of Centennial, Amarillo, Columbus, Cascade and Simcoe hops for the boil and dry-hop. The beer is sitting at 55 IBUs! I have used 8 different specialty malts, including Munich, Caramalt, Crystal, Amber and Chocolate.

Did you remove the Malts for the boil, looks like you left them in after the mash?
I may have made a mistake. I thought the ph pre ferment was supposed to be 4.4 to prevent C botulinum. I may have just made an NA sour. We’ll see.
